What’s new

Canada Life was awarded a new contract to administer both the PSDCP and the Pensioners’ Dental Services Plan, following an open and competitive procurement process.

This new contract comes into effect on November 1, 2024.

What’s next

The new contract with Canada Life requires mandatory positive enrolment.

You may have already completed positive enrolment for the Public Service Health Care Plan but benefit plans under the Government of Canada are separate and governed by different rules.

As such, positive enrolment must be completed and maintained separately on all benefit plans. To facilitate the member experience, Canada Life will be completing positive enrolment for as many PSDCP members as possible.

Canada Life will communicate with you between September and early October asking you to update (if needed) and validate your personal information and will include access to your new PSDCP benefit card and plan number.

These steps are to ensure there is no interruption in the processing of dental claims as of November 1, 2024.

If you do not hear from Canada Life

If you have not received information from Canada Life by early October (by mail or email), contact Canada Life’s PSDCP Member Contact Centre for information on what to do next.
