SECTION 2 - REGULATION AND DISTRIBUTION
AUTHORIZATION
- Anthems are designated by Government statute or regulation.
- Salutes, marches and calls are approved by DHH. Requests to adopt or change a salute, marchor call shall be forwarded to DHH through the respective L1.
MUSIC SCORES
- Brass and Reed bands must maintain copies of all authorized marches. Copies of those marches listed in Annexes A and B, which are not copyright protected, can be obtained from DHH 7 (Music). For all other authorized music, contact DHH 7 (Music): music-musique@forces.gc.ca
- The provision of recorded versions of CAF official marches for which the Crown does not control the copyright, is not permitted by the copyright laws of Canada.
