Update Summaries
The Public Health Agency of Canada and the Canadian STI Guidelines Expert Working Group (the EWG) update, revise, and develop new content for the Guidelines on an ongoing basis, to respond to changing epidemiologic trends, evolving scientific evidence, and advances in laboratory diagnostics and research.
The Update Summaries page highlights current issues, important clinical considerations, and key content changes. It also provides an overview of planned updates and new content development.
Supplementary Statements to be used with the full Guideline chapters have also been developed to ensure that the most up-to-date management information is available for Guideline users in a timely fashion. These supplementary statements are posted on the Table of Contents page and are embedded at the top of each corresponding chapter.
Update Summaries and Supplementary Statements will also be disseminated to subscribers of Public Health Updates.
We encourage you to visit this page regularly and encourage you to subscribe to receive electronic notification of updates and advisories relating to the Guidelines.
