Who can apply

Status: Open for applications, starting January 1, 2024

To be eligible for this open work permit, you must

form

• apply online
• have a Quebec Notice of Intent to Select from the Ministère de la Francisation, de l’Immigration et de l’Intégration

• • We’ll refuse your work permit application if you apply more than 6 months from the date your notice was issued.

• plan to live in Quebec
• meet the general eligibility requirements for a work permit.

You need to meet all of the above criteria to be eligible for this open work permit.

If you meet these criteria, you’re eligible for an open work permit as a Quebec investor.

Accompanying family members

Your spouse or common-law partner and dependent children are eligible for an open work permit as family members of a high-skilled worker.

They don’t need to give proof that you are, or will be, employed in Canada when they submit their work permit applications.
