Summary
Map showing the location of the Baie de L'Isle-Verte National Wildlife Area (NWA), along the south shore of the St. Lawrence River in Quebec vis-à-vis l'Ile Verte. The map shows the NWA in relation to Other Government of Canada Property, L'Isle-Verte Migratory Bird Sanctuary, Parc côtier Kiskotuk and Municipal land. The map shows Gros-Cacouna Marsh Birding Site, Passereaux Area, Faucons Area, Roitelets Area, Quai Area, and Maison Girard Area. Boundaries and installations, as well as specific area activities and prohibited activities are shown. These include bicycle paths, hiking trails, parking areas, a visitor centre and areas that are prohibited for hunting. Roads and highways are also shown on the map. The scale of map is in kilometers.
Regulations and code of ethics
This Wildlife National Area is managed by Environment and Climate Change Canada, as are L’Isle-Verte Migratory Bird Sanctuary and the Gros-Cacouna Marsh Birding Site. The three sites are located within the perimeter of Parc Côtier Kiskotuk, which is a regional initiative, but protected under federal regulations. A code of ethics applies elsewhere in the coastal park. The activities that are prohibited in this National Wildlife Area are posted at the entrance of each area.
