Workplace harassment and violence prevention program

New:

Effective March 1, 2025, the Workplace Harassment and Violence Prevention Program applies to both military and civilian defence team members. DAOD 5012 is no longer in effect.

Important note

If you need emergency assistance or feel unsafe:

  • On a base, wing, or in a National Defence building: Call the military police.
  • Off National Defence property: Call 911.

The Workplace harassment and violence prevention program’s mandate is to prevent occurrences of harassment and violence, respond to reported occurrences and support all involved parties in the resolution process.
