Service standards

A service standard is a public commitment to a measurable level of performance that clients can expect under normal circumstances. National Defence (DND) has established service standards for all of its transfer payment programs.

DND is committed to adhering to the following transfer payment service standards for its grant and contribution programs:

• acknowledging the receipt of a funding request
• communicating a funding decision after receiving a completed application
• issuing a payment following receipt of all required documentation
