Youth Secretariat
The Youth Secretariat amplifies youth voices in Government decision-making. We do so by supporting the activities of the Prime Minister’s Youth Council, and monitoring and reporting on the diverse priorities and concerns of youth in Canada.
Engagement on the second State of the Youth Report is now closed.
Canada’s State of Youth Report offers a snapshot of life for young people, drawing on insights and feedback from youth across the country about the issues that matter most to them.
This engagement offered the opportunity for youth between the ages of 16 and 29 to share experiences, challenges and priorities so that Canada’s second State of Youth Report reflects their perspectives.
This consultation ran from November 25, 2024 to March 16, 2025.
