Isabelle Hudon

Isabelle Hudon is an award-winning businesswoman, serving as President and CEO for Sun Life Financial, Québec and as Senior Vice President for Sun Life Financial Canada until September 2017, when she was appointed the Canadian Ambassador to France. She began her career working in various federal political offices, then held strategic communications positions at Bell Global Solutions, the Canadian Space Agency, Bombardier Aerospace and BCE Media. Hudon joined the Montréal Board of Trade in 2002, rose to Executive Vice-President in 2005, and became President and CEO in 2005. Hudon is the recipient of numerous honours, including a Québec Medal of the National Assembly and an honorary doctorate from Concordia University, and was named to the Women’s Executive Network (WXN) Hall of Fame. The co-founder in 2015 of L’effet A, an initiative devoted to women’s professional advancement, Hudon was appointed co-chair in 2018 of the Gender Equality Advisory Council for Canada’s G7 Presidency.
