The ships will be able to leverage the shore power system while docked, contributing to the creation of a green shipping corridor within these regions. |

Shore Power System at the Port of Montreal Bickerdike Terminal The project involves developing a shore power system for ships operating at Bickerdike terminal, which receives Oceanex vessels that shuttle between Montreal and St. John’s. Quayside activities mainly involve loading and unloading containers, as well as maintenance activities when required by the ships. Ships passing through the port will be able to use the shore power system while docked, which will contribute to the establishment of a green shipping corridor between Montreal and St. John’s and Labrador. |
