Government of Canada to announce safety investments at the Thunder Bay International Airport

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO – The Minister of Indigenous Services and Minister responsible for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Northern Ontario and Member of Parliament for Thunder Bay–Superior North, the Honourable Patty Hajdu, and the Member of Parliament for Thunder Bay–Rainy River, Marcus Powlowski, on behalf of the Minister of Transport, the Honourable Omar Alghabra, will announce safety investments at the Thunder Bay International Airport.

Minister Hajdu and Member of Parliament Powlowski will be available to answer questions from the media following the announcement.

We ask people who have recently received a positive diagnosis for COVID-19, who are awaiting test results, or who have recently been exposed to COVID-19, or are experiencing symptoms as described on Health Canada's website, not to attend. Wearing a face covering is mandatory.
