Government of Canada to announce new funding to support the Winnipeg Richardson International Airport

On behalf of the Minister of Transport, the Honourable Omar Alghabra, the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Transport, Annie Koutrakis, and the Minister of Northern Affairs, Minister responsible for Prairies Economic Development Canada and Minister responsible for the Canadian Northern Economic Development Agency, the Honourable Daniel Vandal, will make an important funding announcement to support critical infrastructure at the Winnipeg Richardson International Airport. Parliamentary Secretary Koutrakis and Minister Vandal will be joined by Barry Rempel, President and Chief Executive Officer, Winnipeg Airports Authority.

Parliamentary Secretary Koutrakis, Minister Vandal and Barry Rempel will be available to answer questions from the media following the announcement.
