The Airport Relief Fund is a new contribution funding program to provide $64.8 million in financial relief to Canada’s airports that are struggling with the financial impact of reduced air travel due to the COVID‑19 pandemic. • Airports with 2019 revenues between $100 million and $250 million will receive a base amount of $5 million and an additional allocation of funding equivalent to 0.5 per cent of the airport’s 2019 revenue.
  • Airports with 2019 revenues between $25 million and $100 million will receive a base amount of $1.5 million and an additional allocation of funding equivalent to 4 per cent of the airport’s 2019 revenue.
  • Airports with 2019 revenues between $10 million and $25 million will receive a base amount of $1 million and an additional allocation of funding equivalent to 4.5 per cent of the airport’s 2019 revenue.
  • Airports with 2019 revenues less than $10 million will receive a base amount of $0.5 million and an additional allocation of funding equivalent to 8.5 per cent of the airport’s 2019 revenue.
