Monitoring and managing wildfires in Canada: next steps for the WildFireSat mission

Media advisory

Longueuil, Quebec, On , the Honourable Steven Guilbeault, Minister of Environment and Climate Change Canada, will be at the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) to announce the next steps for the WildFireSat mission.

Media are invited to attend the event at the John H. Chapman Space Centre. CSA experts, Canadian researchers and a private sector representative will be on site to give interviews.

Media participation on site

Media who wish to attend in person are asked to send an email to asc.medias-media.csa@asc-csa.gc.ca. They will be contacted if there are changes to the schedule.

Upon arrival, media must present a piece of photo ID at the gate and then report to the reception desk.

Media participation online

Media who wish to attend virtually are asked to send an email to asc.medias-media.csa@asc-csa.gc.ca. They will receive a link to the Teams meeting.
