Canadian technologies to be demonstrated on the Moon and in lunar orbit

Longueuil, Quebec, — On , Firefly's Blue Ghost Mission 1 is expected to land on the lunar surface no earlier than 3:34 am ET.
During this mission, three Canadian companies that received funding from the Canadian Space Agency (CSA), through its Lunar Exploration Accelerator Program (LEAP), will demonstrate their technologies:
- A narrow field-of-view sample imaging system on the Blue Ghost lander (Canadensys)
- A global lunar navigation system (NGC Aerospace)
- Material samples tested for lunar dust adherence (Integrity Testing Laboratory)
With LEAP, the CSA is helping accelerate the development of new lunar technologies, which will contribute to Canada's competitive advantage in space.
