Funding available for urgent urban, rural and Northern housing projects

$281.5 million to help address the critical need for safe and affordable housing in urban, rural and Northern areas is being delivered by the National Indigenous Collaborative Housing Incorporated (NICHI). Provided through federal Budget 2022, the funding is being allocated through an expression of need application process for Indigenous-led, non-profit projects that address urgent and unmet housing needs of Indigenous Peoples in urban, rural and Northern communities.
