Summary of Functions

  • Consults with clients and internal HR partners to analyze and identify recruitment requirements; 
  • provide specialized and integrated advice and guidance.
  • Conducts in-depth research and complex analysis of internal/external recruitment efforts; leverage emerging recruitment trends for various field of expertise and available source, tools, platform and events.
  • Develop and evaluate recruitment options and develop associated recommendation, briefing and action plan for clients and HR management.
  • Plan the participation of the organization in recruitment events across the country; coordinate logistics, collaborate with regional offices, travel to attend events, conduct preliminary assessment of candidates and prepare various reports for management.
  • Develop content and deliver information sessions and presentations for recruitment events, managers and other HR employees.
  • Promote HR principles and best practices and provide interpretation of HR policies, directives, guidelines, standards and processes to clients.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in other HR disciplines and participate in project teams/working groups to provide specialized HR knowledge/input into projects, program strategies and initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with universities, colleges, professional associations, and various organizations to participate in job fairs, networking events and other recruitment initiatives.

Education

  • Undergraduate degree and two (2) years of experience*
  • College diploma and four (4) years of experience*

Field of studies such as business administration, marketing, communication will be considered an asset. 

The educational program must be from an accredited learning institution recognized in Canada. If you completed a program outside of Canada, you will be required to obtain proof of a Canadian equivalency at your expense through a recognized credential assessment service.

Any higher level of education could be recognized as experience

The immediate need is to staff positions with a CBC/CBC Imperative* linguistic designation.

Assessment Process

As means of testing, candidates will be invited to give a 10 minutes presentation on a topic which will be submitted in advance. The presentation will serve to evaluate the following competency: 

  • Communication
  • Professionalism

Only those that are successful in this assessment will be invited to a Competency Based Interview. 

Reference checks may be conducted as part of the assessment process.

Security Requirements

Candidates must be eligible to receive an Enhanced Top Secret security clearance.
