Staffing support advisors by departments and agencies

The Public Service Commission of Canada’s team of staffing support advisors provides departments and agencies with advice, interpretation and outreach activities on the Appointment Framework and related tools to achieve an agile, inclusive and effective staffing system in the spirit of the Public Service Employment Act (PSEA).

Our advisors also help departments and agencies experiment and innovate in their staffing approaches to meet their business needs and to achieve diversity, equity and inclusion objectives. As well, they monitor emerging departmental trends relating to policy, oversight, inclusive hiring practices and general staffing needs.
