Seeking Input from Heads of Human Resources on the Public Service Commission’s Open Datasets (18-09)

As part of our ongoing commitment to Open Government, we continue to update our existing datasets and are looking to add new recruitment related datasets on the Open Government Portal. Now, we want to hear from you.

As part of our continued commitment to support departments and agencies with access to useful and timely staffing and recruitment data, we have launched a public service-wide online engagement initiative on GCconnex. Through these efforts, we hope to gain insight into what data is of value to users, including HR practitioners, hiring managers, HR planners, and how best to adapt our current and future datasets to address user needs.

We are seeking feedback on the following:

  1. Which datasets are you using and for what purpose?
  2. What formats would you use most? (E.g. visualizations such as graphs and tables, infographics, flat files, csv, etc.)
  3. What other datasets or information would be of value to you?

Your feedback will guide us in providing better access to the data you need to efficiently support your department or agency. We will report on your feedback through GCconnex, and will release new data and information on Canada’s Open Government Portal.

For more information, please contact our Open Government Secretariat at cfp.cfpgouvernementouvert-pscopengovernment.psc@canada.ca.

Thank you in advance for your collaboration.
