1. The article refers to Canada’s “proposed” National Action Plan to End Gender-Based Violence (GBV NAP). The editors feel it is worth noting that federal, provincial and territorial government endorsement of the NAP was announced on November 9, 2022,^{Footnote 1} after this manuscript was accepted for publication.

   In addition, the following statement within the article’s introduction has been slightly modified from the January 18, 2023, online-first version:

   “To date in Canada, only a ‘strategy to prevent and address gender-based violence’ has been implemented," is replaced by "At the time of writing this manuscript, in Canada, only a ‘strategy to prevent and address gender-based violence’ has been implemented.”

2. The introduction and methods sections of the article present a rounded figure of CAD 600 million over five years in relation to 2022 federal government investments to advance prevention of gender-based violence under the NAP. To be factual, Budget 2021 initially proposed an investment of CAD 601.3 million over five years to advance the GBV NAP.^{Footnote 2} This investment was affirmed in Budget 2022 with an additional CAD 539.3 million commitment over five years to enable provinces and territories to implement the NAP and to supplement and enhance services for the prevention of gender-based violence and support for survivors.^{Footnote 3}
