As of April 1, 2023, the Canadian Biosafety Standard, Second Edition (CBS2) is no longer in effect. Where applicable, the Canadian Biosafety Guidelines will be updated to align with the Canadian Biosafety Standard, Third Edition. We will communicate the publication of these updates through the Biosafety and Biosecurity for Pathogens and Toxins News.
