MP Chahal to announce investments to bolster Calgary’s technology sector

July 31, 2023 – Calgary, Alberta – George Chahal, Member of Parliament for Calgary Skyview, on behalf of the Honourable Dan Vandal, Minister for PrairiesCan, will announce federal support for two initiatives to enable Calgary’s technology firms to grow and attract investment, including a new centre to showcase technologies in frontline city operations.

Joining MP Chahal will be Jyoti Gondek, Mayor of Calgary; Brad Parry, President and CEO of Calgary Economic Development; and Jasmine Palardy, Founding Director of LobbyFest Urban Innovation Society.
