Pursuant to subsection 98 (4) of the Patent  Act

Re: Pfizer Canada Inc. and Viagra 25 mg tablet (DIN 02239766), Viagra 50 mg tablet (DIN 02239767) and Viagra 100 mg tablet (DIN 02239768)

I hereby certify, pursuant to subsectlor1 98 (4) of lhe Patent Act, that the Board is satisfied, on the basis of the submission of Pfizer Canada Inc. ("Pfizer") to the Board dated March 2, 1999, there would not be sufficient grounds to make an order under section 83 of the Patent Act in respect of Pfizer concerning the above-noted matter.

In accordan ce with the Act, this Certtncate is not binding on the Board.  It is based on the material facts disclosed, and may be revoked or altered, in whole or in part, at any time. Should the circumstances warrant; the Board would not be precluded fron) taking enforcement action with respect to these drug products, irrespective of the issuance of this Certificate.
