Parks Canada to make an announcement to support greater access to green spaces in the larger Edmonton region

The Honourable Randy Boissonnault, Minister of Tourism, Associate Minister of Finance and Member of Parliament for Edmonton Centre, on behalf of the Honourable Steven Guilbeault, Minister of Environment and Climate Change and Minister responsible for Parks Canada, will join Chief Tony Alexis, Alexis Nakota Sioux Nation, Confederacy of Treaty Six First Nations Representative, President Audrey Poitras, Métis Nation of Alberta and the Honourable Amarjeet Sohi, Mayor of the City of Edmonton, to make an important announcement to support greater access to green spaces in the larger Edmonton region.

A livestream will also be accessible on the City of Edmonton Facebook page for those interested in watching the event.
