Parks Canada Camping Reservations Open for Gros Morne National Park on January 23

Visitors planning their 2018 summer vacations should mark their calendars

Visitors planning to vacation in Gros Morne National Park this year can reserve a campsite at Trout River, Berry Hill, and Shallow Bay campgrounds for the 2018 season starting Tuesday, January 23, 2018, at 8:30 a.m. NL Time.
Green Point campground will be added to the online reservation system in May 2018. Lomond Campground will continue to operate on a first come, first served basis.
Information on camping and accommodations including oTENTiks and rustic cabins at Gros Morne National Park is available on the park’s website.
The Government of Canada is celebrating families with free admission to all Parks Canada’s places for youth 17 and under in 2018 and beyond. Parks Canada invites Canadian families and their children to experience the outdoors and learn more about our environment and heritage.
For those planning to visit Gros Morne National Park the new annual park pass is available now and is valid from January to December. For information on how to obtain your 2018 pass, please visit the website for Gros Morne National Park. For those who purchased a Gros Morne National Park Pass in 2016, these will be accepted until May 15, 2018.

Gros Morne National Park is a 1,805 square kilometre protected heritage area on Newfoundland’s west coast. It stretches inland from the Gulf of St. Lawrence coastline through lowlands where waterways snake towards the Long Range Mountains and Tablelands. Natural beauty and a unique geological showcase earned Gros Morne a place on UNESCO’s World Heritage List in 1987.
