January 30, 2025 – Surrey, British Columbia – The Honourable Harjit S. Sajjan, Minister of Emergency Preparedness and Minister responsible for the Pacific Economic Development Agency of Canada (PacifiCan), will announce funding to help B.C. businesses in key sectors scale up their operations. 

The event will take place at PacifiCan’s new headquarters in Surrey and feature remarks from Minister Sajjan and Randeep Sarai, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Veterans Affairs and Associate Minister of National Defence and Member of Parliament for Surrey Centre. Remarks will be followed by a media availability.
