Takhini River Bridge Cantilevered Pathway and Klondike Highway Pavement Markings**

This project, led by the Government of Yukon, will add a cantilevered pathway with lighting onto the existing two-lane Takhini River Bridge to create a safe crossing for pedestrians. The project also includes 3 km of painted shoulder lanes on the approaches to the bridge and necessary upgrades to the existing bridge structure to support the weight of the new cantilevered pathway on the side of the bridge.

McIntyre Traffic Calming*

McIntyre Drive corridor upgrades will provide the community with  safe, multi-use transportation options. The primary objective is to improve mobility safety through traffic calming, construction of crosswalks, pedestrian and cycling facilities, curbs, ramps, and enhanced transit amenities. The road corridor is owned and operated by the City of Whitehorse, and is located fully within Kwanlin Dün First Nation settlement land.

Wye Lake Trail Enhancements and Signpost Forest Multi-Use Pathway

This planning project will design and provide a cost analysis for improvements to active transportation in the community by enhancing the existing trail system around the Wye Lake and by creating a new pathway throughout the main tourist destination, the Signpost Forest.
