MOOSE JAW, SASKATCHEWAN – Tom Lukiwski, Member of Parliament for Regina –Lumsden – Lake Centre, on behalf of the Honourable Julian Fantino, Associate Minister of National Defence, today announced a $10.5 million investment for infrastructure upgrades at 15 Wing Moose Jaw and the Regina Garrison Armoury.
Two projects at 15 Wing Moose Jaw will be completed over the next two years. First, $6 million will be invested in renovations to improve military housing, and $1.8 million will fund a project for airfield drainage studies and repairs. A third project, valued at $2.7 million, will provide important repairs for the Regina Garrison Armoury. The projects, in support of the Canadian Armed Forces, will also support the local economy and boost job creation in Saskatchewan.
