Prime Minister Stephen Harper today attended a dinner hosted by the Jewish Community Council of Montreal, where he delivered remarks and received the King David Award from Rabbi Saul Emanuel. He was joined by Denis Lebel, Minister of Infrastructure, Communities and Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec.
According to the organizers of the King David Award Gala, Prime Minister Harper is being honoured this year for his principled support of Israel and Jewish communities worldwide.
