February 11, 2015 – Brampton, Ontario – Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC)
Agriculture Minister Gerry Ritz today announced an investment of $3.4M for Italpasta Limited to assist in the purchase and installation of pasta packaging and production equipment required for the manufacture of Macaroni and Cheese and long goods.
This investment under the Growing Forward 2 (GF 2) framework will enable the company to become a leader in the production of macaroni and cheese products and provide more retailers with made-in-Canada pasta products. It is also expected to create eight full-time jobs and increase the demand for locally-produced semolina and cheese.
