Quotes
“Today we pause to remember and honour our heroes - the brave men and women who gave their life to defend our Canadian values of freedom and democracy. We must never forget the sacrifices they made to serve and protect their fellow Canadians. We also take this opportunity to recognize our military, police officers, first responders and all those who, every day, leave the security of their home and family to ensure we are all safe in our communities. Canadians owe them all a debt of gratitude for their courage, selflessness and service to our country.”
