October 1, 2014 - OTTAWA
Today, the Honourable Rob Moore, Regional Minister for New Brunswick and Minister of State (Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency), attended the Afghanistan Memorial Vigil commemoration in Fredericton, New Brunswick. These cross-country commemorations give all Canadians the opportunity to salute the fallen, honour the currently serving members and veterans, celebrate the strength of Canada’s remarkable military families and pay tribute to all who participated in Canada’s 12-year mission in Afghanistan.
Following the event at the Fredericton Convention Centre, the vigil was relocated to the Centennial Building, 670 King Street, where it will be available for public viewing from October 2nd to 4th from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily.
