Today, Mr. Erin O’Toole, M.P. for Durham and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of International Trade, announced the completion of the Syncrolift Upgrade Project at Canadian Forces Base Halifax on behalf of the Honourable Rob Nicholson, P.C., Q.C., M.P. for Niagara Falls and Minister of National Defence .This project has provided Fleet Maintenance Facility CAPE SCOTT with the capability to perform second-line maintenance and emergency repairs in a modern and efficient facility. This $52-million infrastructure investment has created approximately 182 employment opportunities in the local region.
