March 10, 2014 – Regina, Saskatchewan
The Honourable Steven Blaney, Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, was in Regina today to visit RCMP Academy “Depot” Division’s facilities and participate in the Troop 15 graduation ceremony.
Since 2006, the Harper Government has made significant investments in order to help the RCMP upgrade and expand its infrastructure, including the RCMP Academy in Regina. This funding has enabled the RCMP to further develop its state-of-the-art training facility, thereby ensuring that cadets develop and maintain the skills required to protect Canadians.
Quick Facts
