Gerald Issac was appointed Yukon Administrator for a three year term, effective December 21, 2013.
Mr. Isaac, a longtime Yukon resident, brings significant experience from serving on numerous Yukon Boards and committees. He has contributed over 12 years to the Yukon Land Use Planning Council and Chapter 11 planning process. He served as President of the former Yukon Native Brotherhood, an organization that championed the rights and causes of Yukon Indians prior to the formation of the present Council of Yukon First Nations. He is also a former member of the Yukon Fish & Wildlife Management Board, the Yukon Surface Rights Board, the Yukon Water Board, and of the Historic Sites & Monuments of Canada.
In addition, Mr. Isaac has significant business experience as an entrepreneur in the resources sector.
