Weekly business statement

On Thursday afternoons following question period, the Leader of the Government in the House of Commons informs the House of Commons of the Government’s legislative plans for the coming week. This tells Members of Parliament which government bills will be debated on which days, and which days will be allotted to the Opposition to select a motion for debate.
