Ministers Hajdu and Saks to join Indigenous partners at 2023 National Summit on Indigenous Mental Wellness in Ottawa

Ottawa, Ontario — Please be advised that the Minister of Indigenous Services Patty Hajdu and the Minister of Mental Health and Addictions and Associate Minister of Health Ya’ara Saks will deliver keynote addresses at the 2023 National Summit on Indigenous Mental Wellness.
The Summit provides an opportunity for over 300 First Nations, Inuit and Métis leaders, advocates, community organizations and front-line service providers to discuss best practices from across the country in supporting mental wellness.
Media are invited to attend the Ministers’ keynote remarks and the following morning sessions:
- Keynote 1: Healing Our Future: A multi-sectoral partnership focused on health and wellness
- Plenary Workshop 1: Embracing Well-Being: Men and Boys Mental Wellness Initiatives in communities across Inuit Nunangat
