You need a work permit

Based on your answers, you may be eligible for an open work permit (OWP).

You may be eligible to apply for an open work permit under a temporary public policy if

• you’re a foreign worker employed in a participating province
• you’ve been issued an open work permit support letter by the province or territory confirming your application under the Provincial Nominee Program

This open work permit will allow you to work in Canada for up to 2 years. You must apply by December 31, 2024.
