For clients from the Department of National Defence and the Canadian Armed Forces:

 For clients from all other departments:

  • When applying for a diplomatic passport, you must submit a Global Affairs Canada Posting Confirmation Form (PCF).
  • When applying for a special passport, you must submit a letter signed by your department clearly stating:
    • the purpose of the trip,
    • the cities and countries that you will be visiting, and
    • the dates of travel.
