How to get a police certificate - Guyana
If you need to give your fingerprints for a police certificate, this isn’t the same as giving your biometrics (fingerprints and photo) for an application.

- permanent residence
- citizenship
- some temporary residence programs

How to apply
If you live in Guyana
Apply at the Georgetown Clearance Office (see address below).
If you’re from New Amsterdam, then you must submit your application locally.
You’ll need
- three photographs
- the processing fee
- a right thumbprint taken at the time of application
If you live outside Guyana
