Program delivery update: Procedures at inland offices regarding in-Canada claims for refugee protection – June 20, 2018

The program delivery instructions have been updated to remove references to data entry into the Field Operations Support System. The instructions also reflect recent functional guidance which encourages administrative work to be completed prior to the eligibility interview. Language has been modernized to more accurately reflect recent changes to the Global Case Management System. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada intake offices are no longer expected to scan documents to the Managed Secure File Transfer or use Support System for Intelligence.
