Executive Summary
In compliance with the Pest Control Products Sales Information Reporting Regulations, registrants report the quantity of pesticides sold in Canada for a calendar year to Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency.
The overall reported pesticide sales in Canada for 2014 were 101,080,417 kilograms of active ingredient. Just over 74% of these pesticide sales in Canada in 2014 were Agricultural sector products. Twenty-one percent of these pesticide sales were Non-agricultural sector products and just under 5% were Domestic sector products.
