Minister Hussen to hold press conference to announce funding for development projects in the Philippines

February 8, 2024 - The Honourable Ahmed Hussen, Minister of International Development, will hold a press conference to announce funding for a Philippines-Canada partnership on Nature-based Solutions (NbS) for climate adaptation, for gender responsive healthcare and for disaster risk and resilience in the Philippines. Minister Hussen will be accompanied by the Honourable Rechie Valdez, Minister of Small Business, the Honourable Robert Oliphant, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Dr. Tanjina Mirza, Plan International Canada's Chief Program Officer.
