Announcement of new diplomatic appointments

The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Foreign Affairs, today announced the following diplomatic appointments:

Jessica Blitt becomes Ambassador to the Republic of Croatia. Ms. Blitt replaces Alan Bowman.

Gavin Buchan becomes Ambassador to Romania. Mr. Buchan replaces Annick Goulet.

Kathy Bunka becomes Ambassador to the Republic of Iraq. Ms. Bunka replaces Gregory Galligan.

Caroline Charette becomes Consul General in São Paulo (Federative Republic of Brazil). Ms. Charette replaces Heather Cameron.

Sandra Choufani becomes Ambassador to Mongolia. Ms. Choufani replaces Catherine Ivkoff.

Cheryl Cruz becomes Ambassador to the Slovak Republic. Ms. Cruz replaces Troy Lulashnyk.
