Dyanne Carenza
Dyanne Carenza (Montreal, Quebec) was first appointed to the Canadian Commercial Corporation’s board of directors in 2018 and is reappointed for a 4-year term. Ms. Carenza is vice-president, Head trade finance, Global business payments, Global banking and Markets at Scotiabank since 2017, where she is responsible for building and promoting global traditional trade and supply chain finance businesses. She is a multi-lingual, enterprise solutions leader with a proven record of accomplishment for building relationships and leading high performance teams. Ms. Carenza’s experience in the banking sector includes transaction banking, lending, product management, and strategy creation. She is passionate about trade and in helping businesses realize their success in international markets. Previously, she was vice-president of Banking services and International at National Bank of Canada for 4 years and held several positions at Scotiabank for more than 20 years.
Ms. Carenza serves on the Board of directors of the Bankers Association for Finance and Trade since 2022. Ms. Carenza holds a B.A. in Economics and Industrial Relations from McGill University.
