Announcement of new diplomatic appointments

July 4, 2023 - Ottawa, Ontario - Global Affairs Canada
The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Foreign Affairs, today announced the following diplomatic appointments:
Amy Baker becomes Ambassador to the Kingdom of Norway. Ms. Baker replaces Deirdre Kent.
Rosaline Kwan becomes Consul General in Atlanta (United States of America). Ms. Kwan replaces Nadia Theodore, who was appointed in 2022 as Canada’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the World Trade Organization, in Geneva.
Aly-Khan Rajani becomes Ambassador to the Republic of South Sudan. Mr. Rajani replaces Jenny Hill.
Beth Richardson becomes Consul General in Minneapolis (United States of America). Ms. Richardson replaces Ariel Delouya.
Stuart Savage becomes Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the Organization of American States, in Washington, D.C. Mr. Savage replaces Hugh Adsett
