In Lebanon, Canada’s efforts are focused on expanding livelihood opportunities and skills development for women and youth. In Jordan, Canada is working to improve access to quality public education for all children and to support economic reforms and inclusive governance, including in municipal services. In Syria, programming supported by Canada aims to enhance gender equality by supporting women’s economic empowerment and local women’s organizations.
