Ottawa River watershed study draft report: Closed consultation
Earlier this year, Environment and Climate Change Canada engaged Canadians to better understand the issues and concerns about the Ottawa River watershed. This is part of our study in response to Motion M-104 to examine information on the health of, threats to, and the social, economic, cultural, heritage, and natural value of this watershed.
This engagement is the basis for this draft report. We want to hear from Canadians on this draft report to ensure that we have not missed anything and to help us finalize this report.
Who was the focus of this consultation
The Government of Canada would like to engage with:
- Canadians living in the watershed or relying on the watershed
- Indigenous People who live within or near the watershed
- Non-government organizations
- Businesses and Industry associations
- Academics and researchers
- Diverse groups representing identity factors like gender, race, ethnicity, religion, age, mental or physical disability
- Other interested citizens
