Announcement of Foreign Credential Recognition Program 

The Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Disability Inclusion, Carla Qualtrough, will announce funding under the Foreign Credential Recognition Program in Vancouver, British Columbia.

A photo opportunity and media availability will follow the announcement.

Please note due to limited in person space, media participation will be on a first come first served basis. All other media will be directed to Zoom. Journalists who want to participate must register by contacting media@hrsdc-rhdcc.gc.ca with their name and media outlet before 8:00 a.m. (PST) on Wednesday, March 9, 2022. Please indicate if you plan to participate in person or on Zoom.

The Zoom link will be provided to those who register and wish to attend virtually.

In-person attendance instructions:

• Arrive between 20 and 30 minutes prior to the announcement.
• You must provide proof of vaccination and identification.
• Do not attend if you have any symptoms associated with COVID-19 or have been in contact with anyone who has received a positive diagnosis within the last 14 days.
• Please note that wearing a face covering is mandatory.
