Salary or Clustering Analysis Template

The Salary or Clustering Analysis Template is designed to assist employers in conducting their salary or clustering analysis on the four designated groups. It will facilitate the comparison of the designated group members' salary data with other employees working within the same occupational groups to determine if there is clustering in the lower salary ranges. Comparisons can be made between women and men, Aboriginal peoples and Non-Aboriginal peoples, etc. It will also provide the overall distribution or concentration of the designated group members by occupational groups.

The Template is intended to be used with Forms 2A, 2B and 2C of Schedule VI of the Employment Equity Regulations (Permanent Full-time Employees, Permanent Part-time Employees and Temporary Employees) generated from Employment Equity Computerized Reporting System (EECRS) or documents that contain similar information as set out in these Forms.

The Template is made up of two spreadsheets Salary and Distribution in one Microsoft Excel workbook. Information only has to be entered in the yellow colored fields in the Salary spreadsheet. The data in the Distribution spreadsheet are automatically generated as the Salary spreadsheet is being filled out.
